Festival of Lights
Multi-year funding to support the lantern parade and community celebrations, highlighting the culture and contribution of our Nepalese community.
Amount funded: $5,000 p/yr x 3 years
Your Angel Charity
Funding will support a pilot student wellbeing program over the next two years at Colo Vale Public School.
Amount funded: $12,800 (over 2 years)
Moss Vale High School P&C
Installing a filtered water station for students, which will also be accessible to the wider community.
Amount funded: $5,000
South West Community Transport Limited
Providing transport for older adults to attend creative arts programs — helping to reduce social isolation and support wellbeing.
Amount funded: $8,000
River Road Creative Communities
Delivering mobile arts workshops that promote mental health and inclusion.
Amount funded: $8,000
Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens
Upgrading AV equipment to grow the SHBG’s role as a community, education and tourism hub.

SH Community Hospice
Training volunteers to support palliative care in aged care homes, helping to reduce anxiety and depression among residents.
Amount funded: $8,000
Community Links Wellbeing
Mendable, is a pilot intergenerational men’s group where participants share practical skills and stories to help with social isolation and mental health.
Amount funded: $5,000
SH Wildlife Sanctuary, Bundanoon
Funding for a trailer as part of a larger equipment project to assist volunteers in wildlife rescue.
Amount funded: $7,141
Moss Vale Public School
Supporting upgrades to the school hall to enhance performances and expand community use.
Amount funded: $10,000
Robertson Environment Protection Society
‘Young REPS’ will work with Robertson public school on rainforest regeneration and environmental education.

Highlands Music Collective
Supporting youth classical music education and recognition programs.
Amount funded: $5,000
Ngununggula
The Glossy Black Cockatoo Project engages all local primary schools in an arts and cultural program centred on the threatened Glossy Black Cockatoo.
Amount funded: $14,000
Pop In
Funding will extend the support programs for mothers and children, with a focus on domestic violence prevention.
Amount funded: $10,000
Angels in Our Town
Supporting the annual community parade and concert honouring local volunteers and first responders.
Amount funded: $5,000
Canyonleigh Community Organisation

 

Installing two public defibrillators for emergency response.
Amount funded: $5,000
Reading Friends Australia
Supporting 9 local primary schools to improve reading levels in children. The grant will help to increase awareness and attract volunteers.
Amount funded: $2,000
