In November, we held our annual Community Celebration at the Briars Conservatory. It was a wonderful evening of community spirit where we highlighted some of the extraordinary work our grant recipients and Highlands Heroes whose passion and dedication make such a positive difference to those in need.
Community Foundations are part of the community they represent, raising funds, awarding grants and helping to effect change at a grassroots level. It was wonderful to have so many supporters in the room, local community organisations, partners, donors, council and local Government representatives – as well as our wonderful Board of Directors all in attendance. Our goal is to foster this kind of connectedness and empower organisations and individuals across the Shire to get help to where it’s needed.
A huge thank you again to Jess, Joss and Richard Lane from the @vocalmuster one of our grant recipients who provided the incredible musical talent.
We all have a role in making the Wingecarribee Shire a healthier, more caring and connected community. We look forward to continuing our work in 2026 and beyond, investing in initiatives that help the vulnerable in our community and promote kindness and connection. Keep an eye on our socials for what’s coming up!
