This month, we are thrilled to announce $129,641 in funding for 17 outstanding community organisations.  Grants will assist with vital projects focussed on youth engagement, mental health, community arts, environment and school infrastructure.

For the first time, the SHCF Grants Program included multi-year funding opportunities, made possible by the support of new funding partners, the Medich Foundation, PAYCE Foundation and Deicorp.  This milestone marks a major step forward in the SHCF’s ability to drive greater, longer-term impact at a grassroots level.

On Friday, we held a celebration at the SH Botanic Gardens Bunya Pavilion, where we brought together representatives from each grantee organisation, our key partners and members of our Board.

“Our community is full of passionate people working hard to support others and effect real change,” said Jenny Bott, Chair of the SHCF “It’s a privilege for the SHCF to be able to support these local organisations, projects and initiatives that we know will make a significant difference to the long-term wellbeing of our community.”
